Hi, I have been using an older version of VLC with no problems for about a year on my 1.25 mhz g4 powerbook, but since I upgraded to the latest version of VLC it will play the videos but the audio stutters (for lack of a better word).

Has anyone else noticed this? Anything I need to know about the settings that might correct this or should i replace it with the older version (which hopefully i can track down online again)???

thanks for any advice!!

I'm having the same problem with garbled audio on my MBP 17".

I downloaded the earlier version and that did not correct it - maybe I need to first wipe all VLC files and then install the earlier version.

DivX player is working well, so I might not be bothered with the VLC.
