Audio ripper

I was reading a Macworld magazine a few months ago and i saw a program that can rip audio from any program.. like IE or anyother program like a dvd movie... can anyone help me out with the name of the program?

There's one called wiretap. There is a pro version of wiretap, but I use the free one.

I found that you can only use the free versions of these downloads for a few mins. The best one I came accross was AUDIO HIJACK

ya use wiretap, but it records ANY sound that is coming out of your cpu, so if you adjust the volume you'll be recording that bloop, bloop, bloop sound that the mac makes. So watch out for that.
