Audio Spec - Mac Mini 2011 vs 2012

I'm not finding much information on audio spec of mac mini 2011 and 2012 models? Is there any difference?

Note: I'd be outputting audio via HDMI to an AV Receiver so I'm interested in digital spec / performance only and not the built in loudspeaker performance.

Guess there is no difference. Digital out is max 96/24 PCM or digital encoded streams.

That is correct. I read somewhere that the hardware will support 192/24, but OS X limits that to 96/24.
