I've searched around for a while, looking for an app to record an audio stream...

There are a few out there, but I don't really want to spend more than $20, I'm recording something for a friend as a favor and don't think dropping $50 is something I'd like to do.

Anyways, I'm probably just searching for the wrong stuff and missing out on something great.

So...to the great members of the MacRumors Forums, my question to you:

Any suggestions?

Not 100% sure how to answer that question.

I'm trying to capture the online broadcast for a friend who is on the Lyndon State College radio...

If you go to lyndonstate.edu, and see the "WWLR Radio" button, it will open the stream in iTunes.

Since you said you were willing to spend money on it and not just looking for something free i would check out

http://www.rogueamoeba.com/radioshift/

If you are going to be recording a regular broadcast like every wednesday at 08:00 pm.

If its just a one time thing then they offer audio hijack pro. (which would record the stream/audio that itunes is playing.

heres the url for the stream

http://155.42.121.8:85/broadwave.m3u?src=1&kbps=128

both of these cost 32$

there are cheaper ones out there

streamripper, radiolover, irecordmusic etc but at least for me they seem much harder to setup
