Audio suddenly jacked?

speaker static, is it 10.5.7?

All of the sudden, now I have bad audio output on the speaks and headphone jack!?!

Everything was fine until a few days ago, but I just updated?!? 😕

If it's a 2007/2008 Macbook Pro, they've always has poor audio hardware (popping, crackling, static, etc.)
