Yeah saw this news earlier. Really tragic. :(

Listening through the Audioslave/Soundgarden discography at work. Least I could do, really.

That is just crazy. Too young to go. Gone before their time. We have lost too many great musicians in recent times.

Damn it... read about it this morning also. Way to young and talk about a hell of a voice. Saw Soundgarden and Audioslave live and boy did he have a set of pipes on him!

    RIP Mr. Cornell.....

The 90's seemed to have cursed a generation of musicians.

Damn, that sucks. Latest news says it's being investigated as a suicide.

My GF got me the "Louder Than Love" CD in like '89 or '90, and it blew me away. That GF is long gone, but the Soundgarden (and Audioslave and solo stuff) remains. Best Bond theme IMO too - the only one I've ever actually purchased. I guess I know what albums will be going into rotation today.

Peace, Mr. Cornell - we know your name.

Concert here in Denver was supposed to be Monday. Now at the auditorium, this:

Incredible talent, one of the great voices of rock. Picked up Badmotorfinger towards the end of the release year in '91 (that was a hell of a year, Ten by Pearl Jam, Nevermind by Nirvana), this music really spoke to me, powerful vocals and lyrics, big guitars/riffs, a real change up to the 80s.

Nice, I'm a big WTF/Maron fan, glad he reran this, going to [re]listen. Maron has really great affinity with musicians.
