for all early adopters, including myself. are you keeping your iphone? if you got it on july 11th there are only a few days left to decide to kep it or sent it back!
I've had so many issues with no service at home that I will be taking it back this weekend. I'm sure it depends wher you live but here in oregon ATT 3G its horrible, at least for me.
love the phone, not the network :(:(

Oregon lol. Sucks to live in the boonies.

That's why you don't live on the Oregon Trail...

Sorry to hear that though. That sucks. I will only have 3G about half the year. The other half I have to rely on wifi and edge. AT&T really need to boost their 3G network. It really is shameful how little coverage there is...

I disagree. Oregon is not "the boonies", and it certainly doesn't suck to live here.

Sorry the OP is having 3G problems. Works GREAT for me. AT&T has really ramped up 3G here this year - from two metro areas to five.

I don't know about living there, but I believe they also have the lowest taxes on cell phone bills, which I certainly wouldn't mind.

I'm keeping the phone but I've also bought a Tilt to use as my full time phone until such time that the iPhone starts getting features every other pda on earth has had for a long time. Copy/paste, Slingplayer, streaming wmv audio support (which, like it or not, comprises a large percentage of available streaming audio), TomTom, etc and so on.

Oregon? Boonies? I think not. Except eastern Oregon. But I don't think anyone actually lives there.

That sucks about the service issue though. I don't know where you live but when I was visiting freinds in Portland and Eugene I got great service on my 1st gen phone.

yeah, GSM/edge is great everywhere but not 3G :(

I can't get enough of my Iphone 3g. It was my first Iphone and it certainly is a keeper. 3G is great in my area, and I really have no issues (knock on wood).

30 days will come and go and I will still be a Iphone owner...

i didn't buy the iphone yet. still too many lines here. maybe i'll start looking for one in a week or two.

August 11th is almost here! ....Yeah I know, its my birthday that day!!! Woop woop:p

I'm keeping mine for sure!
Everybody keeps complaining about AT&T's 3G. It's freakin' fantastic here. Excellent coverage & speed.

What do you mean from 2 metro areas to 5? I find 3G almost everywhere I go. and it is almost always nice and fast.

I can't imagine going back to an Edge only device.

I'm going to try to exchange mine for another one based on these things:

*Battery gets really hot after an hour of usage.
*Bezel has a 1/2 inch small cut/rough area going down that's very noticeable under light.
