what watchOS version are you on? This sounds like pre-watchos10 behavior ...Mine was along the lines of:
“You closed your Exercise ring 28 times last month. Close it 30 times this month.” 🙈Sorry, Apple! 28 is more than enough.
Let me remind you, Cupertino — I control my watch; I don’t let it control me! 😎
if you have a friends house or a cousins house that has one ask them if you can come over and have a pool party. Or utilize the hotel pool if you’re travelling and soak up the sunMy challenge for this month is a few short swimming sessions. The problem is, I don't really have access to a pool. 🥲
For someone who works out a lot, isn’t 481 Kcal kind of low? I’d have thought you’d be doing a lot more than that every day. My average over the last year is 1145 Kcal a day. But I’m probably 3 times your age!View attachment 2538442View attachment 2538443View attachment 2538444
already hitting new records and almost to 14 days of burning 481 calories this month.
I am 10 outta 14 days.
I do not go by kilocalories. My units in the activity app is in regular cals. For someone who works out a lot, isn’t 481 Kcal kind of low? I’d have thought you’d be doing a lot more than that every day. My average over the last year is 1145 Kcal a day. But I’m probably 3 times your age!
Okay. I wasn’t aware you could change them. I thought your numbers looked low for a gym person.I do not go by kilocalories. My units in the activity app is in regular cals.
Exactly. Even your height can change units to metric too and weight from pounds to kilograms depending on where you are in the worldOkay. I wasn’t aware you could change them. I thought your numbers looked low for a gym person.
Capital-C "Calories" are 1000 "regular" small-c "calories", which makes capital-C Calories and kilocalories the same thing. (If you switch between them in the Activity app they show the same total.)I do not go by kilocalories. My units in the activity app is in regular cals.
Fascinating. I knew you could swap to miles for runs etc (although annoyingly it still rewards you based on 5k or 10k even though its set to miles!). Didn't know you could switch up the energy units. Now if I just understood the difference between the 3!Exactly. Even your height can change units to metric too and weight from pounds to kilograms depending on where you are in the world
This is where you switch it. Tap on your Apple ID profile picture in the activity app.

You can. Even for pools I switch to meters as I have to estimate or know the length of the pool to accurately measure the laps while I swimFascinating.
