At least according to my Fandango search, no movies open on Aug 13, and it would be quite unusual for a movie to open on a Monday.

so... august 7.. fail again. Whats it gonna be august 14, then 21 then the 28 and on and on until we finally get there. Lets not get ahead of ourselves here.. lest stop the wishful thinking and im sure well hear something when the new imac comes around.
 
All this waiting is getting silly now,I was in Apple shop the other day and was so tempted to get one.
Even the apple staff said they are even waiting for new iMac for themselves..they said its got to come soon...
Here's hoping.

I think to make things easier we can exclude August altogether.... And probably first half of September at least.

thats what i thought i dont think (even though i want to) i dont think well see an imac this month.. next month is another story lets hope we see something by the end of october if it doesnt come then... then i dont spect to see an imac this year. this so f-w-c-k-ing annoyingly sad.
 
I am a click away from a refurbished 2011 iMac...

I just know that I will end up selling it once the 2012 comes out and I'll lose money - that is whats stopping me.
 
I'm exactly the same mate... I do NEED a new iMac, if nothing is announced soon then a refurb will be purchased
 
Bought a totally decked out 27" with every option a couple weeks ago...love it!! Ssd rocks! I was not about to wait another month or two months or three months... already waited for a few months...no more waiting!

I am about to do this with the high end 21.5" w/ 256gb SSD (I can't swing more than $2000 with tax, etc.)

I just wish there was a more concrete rumor than speculation. It is frustrating. I know I will end up selling it though as soon as the new one is released. I would take an easy $200 hit, or more.
