moreover, i don't know how burglars think, but if i were one, i'll take the easiest, least risky way. if i have some electronic internet-of-more-or-less-insecure-things kinda device to deal with, and i have the proper tools to mitigate it, i'll especially look for those, as there are no (traditional) traces if you get in.

if one gives me the best view on the subject itself, i don't even have to guess, where i need to do some fumbling.
a crucial part of the security is always to not reveal your protective measures. and that promotion photo goes agains common sense. like suggesting to wrap an abrams tank into aluminium foil to make it more bulletproof.

Smart lock or not, if a burglar wants in, they’re getting in. You speak as if you are a subject matter expert when you very clearly aren’t. I’ve been a cop for going on 5 years and have never found or heard of a single burglar that circumvented a smart lock by hacking.
