Joining the recently revised AquaTrimcelerator, the new and improved AuroraTrimcelerator is now ready for prime time. :)

...

It is now extremely safe and much more effective, Spotlight, QuartzGL, network throughput, AuroraTips, bundled utilities, no longer sucks, blah blah blah. Same deal here; go download it. ;)

As in the last 24 hours? I just ran it yesterday, and so far, so good. Do new versions need to be uninstalled and reinstalled, or does the script deal with all the appropriate error handling? (I do have clones of all my boot volumes so it's not a huge thing.)

@ziggy29 Closer to within the last 2 hours - my apologies for the inconvenient timing. The script assumes that it is being run on a fresh install, and therefore does not plan for in-place updates. If you wish to use the new version, I suggest you run the Undo scripts of the April 2020 build (what you currently have), and then run the main scripts of the new one.

Projects like this are awesome. Squeezing every drop of performance and optimizing to the hilt are what PPC Macs are about (for me!). I'll be doing this on my G5 DC ASAP!

Ah, still life in the PPC side of retro. ;-)
Will try it on some of my PPCs, but initially thought it to be a script for 10.6 on PPCs, then stumbled on my own post in this thread from 2 years ago... ha, time´s ticking.

I think this concluded project has been superseded by Sorbet Leopard. It might be a worth a shot if you don't want to redo an existing Leopard installation that has tons of personalisations and apps already.

Already planning to. But will have a tweaked Leopard alongside and see the differences

Now all we need are the browsers to be updated with new certs, so they can be used. Is there a way to inject into LWK new certs, so the engine can process websites better ?
