Australian store just went live, all sizes and colours ship in 7-10 buisness days stock shortage is going to happen!
 
Optus only has Space Grey available online, with no guidelines for Silver/Gold. I've just ordered with delivery listed for Monday :)

Further to this -- Telstra appears to have Grey and Silver, but no Gold. Vodafone has 2+ weeks listed for Silver/Gold 16GB and the Gold 32/64GB (everything else is at 2-3 days). There is definitely a major shortage (ie no Gold iPhones in the country!).
 
we australians who wanted gold got screwed hard. no telcos got any, and all reports are that the apple stores have them in the single digits.

don't understand how hyping up a new model and then delivering almost no stock is sound business practice, but anyway.
 
More news for you, I am 20th in line it is 1220am apple guy just came out, pass the first 5 or so in line, telling everyone if you want gold order online & go home supplies are incredibly limited at least here. The rumours are true! They have very limited supplies! All the other launches this store had lines around the block all day and still supplied everyone!!

Damn..and for sure that this single digits are going to stick on hands of some japanese's!!!

Anyway..I decided for the space grey!
 
Gold iPhones, 7.5 hrs to Launch all gone -Perth Aus

As well as the Aussie orders starting at shipping in 7-10 days, apple rep has come out of store, gold is so limited if your not in the first half dozen or so, order online if you want it, they have hardly any!!

And where r you at the moment? Which store??
 
There are going to be alot of VERY upset Apple people come Friday.

All the signs have been there that supply will be short!:mad:

Just think about the fact that there are three colors, three memory configs and multiple carriers at the same time.:eek:
