I actually quite like the "new Apple smell" so I can see where they're going with this. Not sure I'd actually go out and buy a MacBook Pro fragrance though. Then again, I notice this article was published on 4/20, so maybe they were stoned when they came up with this idea? :p

I'm imagining the creative process behind it right now:

"Hey dude, this computer smells niiiiiice."

"Woah, imagine if we could smell just like it man! We could walk into a Starbucks and connect to the WiFi because we'd be MacBooks!"

"We need to make this! Tell the news, we'll be, like, rich!"

:D

I'm actually waiting for the MacBook Air 11" fragrance myself.

Quite a thin scent though :p

"The scent incorporates elements of the plastic wrap on the box, the ink on the cardboard, the smell of the plastic inside and the aluminum of the laptop fresh from the factory.

So how does the concocted scent compare with the actual MacBook? Virtually identical, Ebbecke said. "Our perfumers are very, very good at what they do."

The company caters primarily to four- and five-star hotels, religious houses and retail clients. And the requests it gets can range from the subtle to the challenging to the unthinkably bizarre.

If you thought "MacBook Pro unboxed" was an odd request, wait until you hear what they got yesterday: decomposing body."

I love my iMac and my KIA, so I would spray it in the car.

Then I could drive around and pretend I am actually inside a MacBook Pro,

with wheels. :D

I really do think that you have inhaled far too much and for too long:cool:
