I'm at one of the t-mobile stores and was the only one here for an hour. Now (6:45am) there is a total of 4 people here; not including myself.

I was the only one to bring a comfy chair! 🙂

which tmobile is it ? i am thinking about buying a contract free one. do you think it is doable through tmobile store ?

I'm over at the west gate location (no change in the size of the line). The employees came out and said they will be opening at 7:50am.

I would imagine that you could buy one outright, but don't quote me on that.
