Auto batch photo renaming software

Your sig says you have Photoshop CS2. Use Bridge.

If you have them in iPhoto doPhotos | batch change| Set Title to..., and click append a number to each file.
If you want to rename the files, export using the Title as the filename and then reimport them

Yep - that's it - I do batch renames every day with CS2

In Bridge, it's under Tools -> Batch Rename...
