Is anybody having issues with auto-brightness on the new 17's, specifically the 17 Pro in my case? I find that it does adjust to ambient lighting, but it always errs on the side of way too bright, and even after adjusting it each time that I feel that it's too bright since I've had it (got it on launch day), it still isn't as great at adjusting to my preferred brightness as my previous iPhone (13 Mini).

iPhone 17 Pro Auto-brightness doesn't work as well on 17 Pro?

Same issue on iPhone 17 base. I often have to manually lower the brightness at night and increase it the following day. Not sure if it’s meant to be like this or if it’s faulty. Previous iPhone 12 was perfect.

3 months of use later and I'm still experiencing the same thing. I still find my screen too dark or too bright frequently.
I have upgraded 2 weeks ago from 13 Pro Max to 17 Pro and unfortunately also have this problem, the display is either way too dark or way too bright for me.
