On my new 14 Pro I keep finding my phone extra bright throughout the day and I go back into settings and toggle “auto brightness” off and then back on and the screen dims to the correct brightness, but as the day goes on it again appears too bright for the situation and I repeat the toggle off and on and then it dims back to the correct brightness level. Anyone else experience this?

Auto-brightness is relative to your settings and lighting conditions. Instead of toggling it off and back on all the time (which resets it), just drag the slider to the appropriate place where it looks good to you. Then the next time when you're in the same conditions, it should go back to roughly the same spot. You typically have to do this when you're in a bright area, and again when you're in a dark area. It'll know/learn what you prefer the brightness level to be in bright conditions and in dark conditions.

Hello,
I think it is not exactly your problem. On my iPhone 14 PM, the display is now and then much too bright for a short time when I activate the display. But then it dims again automatically. Think a software update will still adjust this.
