Auto brightness

If I put brightness low wont it go high when it needs to. So what's the point of putting it any higher than half way if you use auto brightness

I always keep mine at about 1/4 with auto on. Only in VERY bright sunlight do I ever have to turn it up. I prefer battery life to brightness

What's 1/4 and either way wouldn't the phone adjust to full brightness when you needed it! Dark rooms its usually brightest and light rooms its dark?

The auto brightness will only adjust UP but not DOWN. So if the room suddenly is brighter the screen will adjust, but if the room turns darker you have to turn it off and on again. That's my experience anyway.

You have that backwards..you need less brightness in a dark room and more in brighter light.

Then I'll put it low as I can still see with and Then it will just go up whenever i need it the brightest instead of having it at 60% or 80% all the time
