Hi guys! I'll be going to be doing my masters in civil engineering soon and will be using auto cad a lot and I've been debating which mac for a while now. Can some one tell me how this programme runs on either of these two machines please?

I have a 2009 15" MBP and Auto Cad runs just fine as it is made for OSX now.
I did some checking and if you are going to buy a new MBP with Mt Lion OSX 10.8 then you need to get the newest version if you put it on a computer with 10.7 Lion the other versions will work fine. The good news is if you are a student or teacher you can get a free copy of Auto Cad every year from Auto Desk.
CORRECTION: As of now Auto Cad will NOT work with Mountain Lion but it will soon. If you buy a MBP now make sure it has Lion on it with the free upgrade to Mountain Lion so you can do the upgrade when Auto Cad has a fix.
Thanks EatMyApple for the correction I checked a different site an it said it would work but I guess it was wrong!
