Hello,

Running Leopard 10.5.2 from a week old reformat, the System Preferences are set to change the desktop every day, yet it doesn't change. The other time intervals work, and I've trashed the desktop preferences file as a solution to no avail. I've verified disk permissions and am not running any haxies.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

On my iMac and MBP (both new) I have the problem that when I set the desktop to "Change every day" it changes with every login, not every day. Setting it to change with every login also does the same thing so it's not like those two options are switched. Looks like a bug to me.

I had to trash my pref file after my desktop background started changing every minute, instead of every hour. so annoying. and why doesn't it fade into the next one anymore?

Stupid Leopard. And until this, I never really had any bugs in the OS too!

I guess it's possible this is a bug within Leopard. Maybe Apple will fix it in the next update.
