Coming off a BlackBerry Bold into my first iPhone, I couldn't be happier. There is one thing I miss however. When texting, with a BB, it would auto punctuate words with the apostrophe, auto cap the letter "i" etc. You former Crackheads know what I'm saying.

Is there any way to get my iP4 to do this? I don't like the auto correct feature, it thinks it knows what words I want and changes them randomly. NOT!

Wait, so you turned it off, right?
In that case, I'm not sure if there's an individual setting to still fix the mechanics of writing, but ignore the spelling.

I'd suggest you give autocorrect a try once more. It generally learns the words you spell, so it might start working better to your needs.

Ah! I turned auto correct back on but left spelling correct off. Thats what I was looking for! Thanks for the tip.
