Is there an app for mac that autodownloads a torrentfile via RSS and then launches my torrent app (Transmission) and then starts the download of a specific torrent?

I cant seem to find a plugin for Transmission itself.

Thx

Well that wasnt quite what I had in mind.

Picture this scenario,

1. A certain torrent gets uploaded to a certain tracker
2. The app, the one that I request, detects the torrent through an RSS-feed.
3. The app downloads the torrent file.
4. The app then tells my torrent app, transmission, to add the torrent file and download the torrent/content, a movie for example.

Can this be done?

sorry i was assuming tv shows, or along those lines, where you have a dedicated rss feed to the show in question.

i'm not sure if you can detect a particular torrent by keyword/name from within an RSS feed. maybe someone else can help!

if i understand you correctly then this is something that automator should be able to handle (although you have set a schedule on when it will run) along with transmissions ability to watch for torrents file in a certain folder.
