Auto-Enable Display Mirroring?

Is there a way to enable Display Mirroring to turn on automatically when I connect my laptop to an HDTV? For some reason, when I hook my laptop up to 99% of TV's, it just automatically detects and mirrors the display. But, when I hook it up to my main TV, I have to go into the top toolbar and "Turn on Display Mirroring."

I use an HDMI to miniDP cord. Just wondering if there's settings somewhere that allow me to enable Display Mirror to be enabled automatically when plugging it in.
