I would like to leave my ipod on auto lock but set it up so that it does not lock when on a charging stand - so that it displays share prices constantly.
Absolutely right - and its what I'm currently doing - but then I forget to turn it off over night and the battery runs down (so that would be the Auto Lock > Never > Don't be an Idiot option).
I was hoping that there might be a way for the ipod to sense when it was docked and to over-ride the Lock option.
