Auto off after disconnecting Instant Hotspot?

It's great that instant hotspot turns on personal hotspot automatically, but is it supposed to turn it off automatically when you disconnect from the hotspot? Mine stays on, and I have to manually go in to turn it off. Anyway to make this automatic?
