Auto Sensing Glyph Hard Drive

Hi, Is there a way to turn off auto sensing power on in a Glyph Studio hard drive connected through firewire?
 
Solved. Sorry, I meant auto power on (not sensing). I didn't realize there was a toggle on the back of the Studio drive to switch that feature on/off. The older model I have didn't have that feature.
