I've followed the guides to get my Mac Pro (2013) to unlock with the watch automatically, but i still don't get the option in the security and privacy pane.
What I've done:
Set up two-factor authentication (done sometime previously)
Wifi switched on on the mac and phone
Auto-unlock is supported according to the system report
but no option to switch on. Tried rebooting - still no menu item!
