AutoCAD on MacBook Air 2018

Hi,
iam considering buy of macbook air 2018, iam doing mostly web browsing, word and sometimes AutoCAD - only easy drawings of small houses in 2D. Has anyone experience? I am considering only the basic version, because of budget. Thanks for every answer!

AutoCAD would not be an issue as long as the drawings are 2D and small in file size.

That should be fine, AutoCAD is a pretty pricey program for that kind of light use. It's very fluid on even my old 2012 Mac Mini. You might want to check out Draft Sight by Dessault Systemes. The Mac version is free and it uses AutoCAD commands as well as the command line.
