Everything has been fine, until this morning, when I opened a Pages doc and began to work on a paper. For some reason, autocorrect isn't working––I've restarted and logged out twice, quit everything, even unchecked the "restore open windows after restart" button. Autocorrect still doesn't work. Checked/unchecked the option in Sys Prefs, checked/unchecked the option in Pages preferences.

Any ideas??

EDIT:
Reinstalling didn't do the trick. All misspelled words did not have the red underline underneath them. Weirdly, I can open a previously created Pages doc and it will have autocorrect and spellcheck work just fine. I was also using a custom template (just a blank doc with Times New Roman font) and when I switched to the default Pages Blank template, the red underlines appeared. Weird? I think so.

What words are you typing? Are they actually incorrect?

Specifically:
tmie, ocne, uopn, (as I type these in Safari, all of them underline red as being incorrect).

I reinstalled iWork and am now updating to iWork 9.1. Hopefully this fixes it.

An additional part of the problem was that the words were not even underlining red if they were wrong.
