Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone has used revit On the 2015 macbook pro 13'?

I'm planning on buying a macbook pro 13' to do some work at home, but wondering how it performs.

well Revit is only available for windows, as far as i know. So i imagine your going to use a VM?

Revit lacks the detail of Inventor, so i do not see an issue as long as you've got plenty of RAM for the VM, CPU wise you should be fine if its a new pro, and your not rendering so even that point may be moot. Also, depends on the size of what you are modeling. I personally don't see an issue, though i'd never run autodesk on a Mac.

I run revit in windows 8 with vmware on my macbook pro 13" (mid 2014), it's okay with small projects, a bit sluggish when loading large maps and working with larger projects, but it's usable, i suspect it would run better on bootcamp.
