Hello,
I want to automate a process that I have to run manually and I am not sure what the easiest and fastest way to get this accomplished would be.
First, I have a script file the connects to a remote machine and copies some files off the machine, and then emails them. I have to initiate a dialup session to the remote machine to retrieve the files, and then disconnect it because this machine also must then access the internet through ethernet and not dialup.
I want to schedule the task to complete twice per day when I am not at the PC. Is this something that is fairly straight-forward on a mac? I have tried to no success in windows and I am hoping mac can bail me out.
It will be on a mac-mini with USB modem.
Thanks for any help or hints
John
