Hi all,

I am currently zipping my photo collection to upload to Amazon Glacier as an absolute worst case scenario backup. Due to the Glacier system and the file structure of my photo collection it will be easiest to zip them before upload.

However, before uploading I would like to be certain that the zip process has been successful and that the original folder and the un-zipped version remain identical. I have been doing this myself by un-zipping with a second zip utility and then using Araxis Merge to compare the contents of the folders. This works but is really slow, really really slow and I have lots of folders ahead of me...

Does anyone know of a method I could use to automate the above process or different software that would achieve the same effect?

Many thanks for your help,

Thom
