Automatic APFS conversion

I use an external SSD boot drive that never converted from HFS+ nor did I attempt again in HS after two failed attempts. I am late to the Movave beta but I noticed it converted as part of the update. Do others find this the case? And does it convert external storage drives as well?

It converts the boot drive only. You can convert the other drives if you want to, but it's not automatic.

Personally I wouldn't.
