Automatic Brightness in System Report Base 14" MBA

On my base 14" MBP, the system report info shows a "no" in the the automatic brightness line. However, automatic brightness is enabled and it works fine. Wondering if just a software bug. I'm on macOS 12.2.1 (21D62). Anyone else getting the same results? Here is a screenshot of what it shows:

Mine is the same as yours.
The brightness definitely does adjust, despite showing "No" in system report

Probably system report hasn't been updated to talk to the new system level firmware that does the brightness. An oversight.
