Automatic Date Setting: Possible Battery Hog

I turned mine off too. Plus, I'm not sure about this, but I took a picture of the sun and there was no purple glow anymore.

good god, nice trick. Normally battery drains 5% overnight, turn it off and dropped 1%.

Settings...general....about....scroll down....advertising....turn to "limit local advertising"

I guess it's new to ios6

UPDATE: This is my battery usage just now. I never thought I would reach 6 hours plus and still have a little over 20% left.

This proves to me that my usage is affected greatly by 'Date & Time' when it's set to automatic:

I already knew about this, so mine was turned off since day 1.

We should have some sort of thread that has a list of options that can improve battery. That would be a great Sticky in this section.
