Is anyone else having issues with the automatic personal hotspot feature? I thought maybe it was a software issue, as I was on the beta version of Yosemite and running a ton of junk...but now I just bought a new 2015 rMBP and started from a fresh install of 10.10...but it still doesn't work.
I click on my iPhone (an iPhone 6 running 8.2) and it always says that it can't initiate personal hotspot. So I do it manually and even then it will have issues connecting because my mac thinks it needs to start the hotspot when it is already started. Then I end up using a lightning cable and that just works.
Am I the only one that can only get this to work maybe 5% of the time? It is just super annoying when you try to use a convenience feature but it ends up becoming more of a hassle than doing it manually.
