Hi,
I have an macbook pro late 2011 17" with annoying issues.
Problem:
I cant get past the first auto reboot during installation of macOS. Its restarts the installation from scratch, over and over.
What I tried:
Tried to install macOS directly from witin the desktop, with the install file that I got from appstore (tried several times), I also tried creating a bootable usb with macOS on it, using both diskmaker and the terminal creating a bootable disk.
The usb stick shows up when holding alt key at boot.
Its just like my macbook doesnt find the newly created installation disk after reboot, forcing it to start the installation progress from scrath over and over.
Some sort of starup disk falure perhaps?
I even turned to digital inn here in sweden that are apple certified workshop for macs. They hade the same problem..
Havent found anyone with my problem hence this post.
