Automatic Sleep issue (my solution)

My new 21.5" iMac didn't go to sleep automatically when in idle state. I read a lot of posts regarding this issue and tried a few of the possible solutions: resetting the SMC and so on.

I finally was able to fix my problem (so far) with the help provided in the following link:

Or try PleaseSleep, it forces your Mac to sleep when it should

ugh i so want to install it but im trying not to bogg down my new imac 🙁 haha
