Is there a way to have Mail.app automatically apply its rules to sub folders? I have procmail running on the server, sorting my mail into buckets, and then I read those buckets with Mail.app and IMAP. Unfortunately the client side rules I have in place don't execute on those ancillary mailboxes.

While I do a lot of filtering on the server side, the client side does more filtering based on the better spam filters (bspam is old lemme tell you) and the integration with Address Book that need to run as well. While I know I can just select all and apply rules (or make it even shorter with various keystroke utilities), surely someone has built a way to have rules applied regularly to listed folders or even make rules automatically apply when a folder is selected. Yes?

Thanks,

SiD

If you go into Preferences>Rules, I believe you can set them up pretty easily.

Don't know if that's what you're looking for, otherwise you might get decent results with a smart mailbox..?
