Is there a way to get my MBP to automatically connect to my NAS when I am on my home network? It gets annoying having to reconnect every time I power down.

If you log in to your system when you get home you could always attach a networked drive to your login options.

I just installed a NAS and I automount my iTunes drive and a couple of others on login.

yes an automator script is the way to do it then save it as an application and set it to load when you log in. I do that in order to mount my time capsule because I have data on it other than just backups and it works great

go to automator (in applications folder)

select application on the menu that comes up

on the left sidebar go to files and folders

select get specified servers and drag to the right side

on that bubble click add and add the server you want auto mounted

on the left drag over connect to server

save that whereever you want (application folder, utilities folder, whatever)

go to system preferances

click accounts

click login items

click the +

select your application you just saved

log back in and it will auto mount
