Automatically mark forum read when leaving

This option seems to be gone again. How do I make a sub forum automaticall mark as read when I leave it?

It worked in the old format. I don't know about the trial period but the day that it turned over it no longer seems available. I can't find it under preferences or anywhere. THANKS

Every time I come to the forum, everything is marked as read already. Nothing shows as new anymore. Nothing has the little dots in from of it anymore.

The dots were removed yesterday as they aren't adding much. Bold indicates unread items.

So, does everyone have to manually "mark read" or is the option to auto somewhere? Thanks.
