have and of you guys ever heard of a way to have your airport connection automatically turn-off on logout? if so, let me know!

you can do this but why do you want to do this exactly? it is more seamless to leave it on and have it auto connect on login.

in Leopard tick the "Disconnect from wireless networks when logging out" box in the Airport advanced settings in System Preferences. i assume it is similar if youre using Tiger.
