Hi,

I know there are lots of apps out there that try to help with this but dont think I have been able to find one that will help me so looking for any suggestions.

I have a web app which I need to use at work.

The task I need to automate works roughly as follows:

1) select a url
2) hit upload button
3) select a file from a specific folder
4) change a couple of drop downs
5) hit upload

I then want this task to repeat and move sequentially through a list of files in the folder (same as selected in 3).

I can find programs for windows which claim to automate repetitive web apps but my limited understanding of Automate, and the research on 3rd party tools, it looks like all I have found automate tasks relating to apps rather than the task I have described.

Many thanks in advance,

Gavin

I did play about with automator but no joy.

Any ideas on an app that simplifies this process?

Thanks again,

Not really much at all. It is a very easy language.

You just need to read the relevant documentation (normally found in the Help menu of the application you want to script or on the website) and find out how to do certain things in it.
