Automation for making spatial photos and spatial scenes?

Has anyone found a way to automate converting all the photos in a photos app album to either spatial photo or spatial scene? I'm having to convert one photo at a time and it would be great to be able to use Apple's short cuts or some other method to batch the conversions. The 3D results are so impressive, I want to see a lot of photos in 3D, but pressing that icon over and over and over ... again gets old.

That button is just to view the photo in spatial view. It doesn't actually convert or save anything. I bet if you go back to view the ones you've “converted," you'll find that they are regular/flat photos again.

If you swipe between photos while in spatial view, it'll stay in spatial view and you don't have to keep tapping the button. If you leave the spatial view to go back to your album, then you'll have to tap the button again.

I've found that the spatial scenes persist, but only on the Vision Pro. They revert to their original version when exported to the files app or are airdropped to another device. The original 2D to 3D conversions do survive export as .heic files with left and right views encoded in the file.

It makes sense that Apple doesn't have an open file standard to export spatial scenes since additional processing is required for subsequent viewing. Other 3D devices would have to be programmed to dynamically recreate that experience.

2D to 3D conversions are only processed once. Any 3D device should be able to display the left and right view, but likely in another file format than .heic.

I just want to import many photos, batch convert them, then view at my leisure without having to wait for the spatial conversion each time I swipe to the next photo.
