Ok guys, I have about 500 photos with the exact same dimensions and I need to split each photo right down the middle into two separate photos. I'm doing this for making collages such as this:

http://img.timeinc.net/time/magazine/archive/covers/2008/1101080505_400.jpg

Now I figured I could crop each individual photo manually but that'd take me months. Is there a way to quickly accomplish this with automator? If so, I need a detailed step by step guide.

Thanks in advance.

click Automator,
choose Workflow>choose photos in the library>choose crop images

then, you can choose the folder and the image crop options...

automator will automatically copy a target folder duplicate for you,

you can choose 1.to dimensions,2.by percentage...

drag your folder to the windows, then click "run"
