Automator help with mail app

Here's my problem: I use Gmail with mail as a viewer but since i got Gmail i've been busy or what to go through my *unread* mail and now it seems like impossible task to go thru manually..


What i want automator to do is open mail and open and close all unread emails in mail ..



Is that possible ?

So essentially you just want to mark all your messages as read?

If so, just do a select all (in mail), Ctrl+Click (or right click ), then Mark>Read.

If you really want Automation, you could probably write an Applescript to do the action I just described.
