Automator - stop recording video

Is there a way to set up Automator to stop importing a video in iMovie after a certain amount of time?

I kind of doubt you can do it in Automator, but maybe in AppleScript. Your best bet might be to post in the AppleScript forum in Apple's site:

If you have FCP you can set the clip duration.... but you probably can't in iMovie

thanks everyone. I don't have FCP but I'll try to post in the Apple forum and see if its possible in iMovie.
