Is it just me or does Tiger's Automator look a bit like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy's Marvin (or vice versa)?

Sure there's some similarity, but if you've seen the movie, you'd realize that the whole inside of the ship, the Heart of Gold, is in the same style - even the blasters. So I think its a coincidence more than anything else.

sure there is some similarity, but not much in my opinion. the automator icon has a much different finish and layout than Marvin

Here I am the brain the size of a planet and you ask me to help you navigate. You call that job satisfaction?

i think they both look like ibook robots,
i imagine, if anything, they are both based off
the clean white plastic look of apples consumer line

+: although on closer inspection it looks like marvin
does a better job of it

Don't let them two get too close. God only knows what Marvin will drive the Automator to do...

Really, I thought that they did look quite alike. Hopefully the Automator isn;t as grumpy as Marvin is...:p
