autotune in garage band?

hey guys, im just messing around with garageband and i wanted to know if plug-ins and effects work for it (especially autotune)

im only used to fruityloops and acid so im kinda lost on how to get them installed and working with garageband.

yes garageband can run AU plugins, and if you want the auto-tune effect garageband already has a really simple way of doing it built in, but im sure your aware of it. Anyways once you instal the AU plugins to run them you should be able to see them under track info on the right, and press the details arrow, and go to one of the effects and go under audio unit effects, it should be under there if you installed correctly. Press the little pencil editing button next to the effect on the right , and you can customise things from there.
