AV out works, but...

alright.. I bought this

I planned to use it with my DVD player in my car. So the audio will go to my car speakers while I am running MXtube or during phone call.

Despite of the quality, it works fine. However, it seems like I was only able to use sound and AV when I am running ipod stuff, ipod music and ipod video.

I would like to have AV and audio when I am running application, such as, XGPS and audio out during phone call.

What car do you have? I've been looking into this lately (I'm about to buy a new car). My goal is to get everything on the Nav Screen. You need to use TV Out or screensplitr(sp).

Oh here..... Watch these 2 videos and maybe tool around their forums. They have a phone section. Doing a lot of interesting stuff. There's also some neat discussions on Acurazine in the 2006+ TL Electronics section.

I have a honda civic coupe 2001 dx and a friend of mine gave me his old jvc avx1. Although the screen is small, it is a fantastic dvd player. (it has video in/out and digital out)
